Captain Aaron has taken 4 great charters to start September off with a bang! September has kicked off the fall fishing out of Bodega Bay, which is always a special time to be fishing in this area. The waters are usually calm, there is lots of life and there is generally a mix of great big fish to be caught. There has been huge amounts of bait south of Tomales Point all the way to Point Reyes and fishing it has been lots of fun. The salmon are moving down the coast this time of year towards the rivers and as they swim by they will often stop and feed before moving on. This makes every day different this time of year but it also means we see some of our largest, hottest fish. Salmon this time of year are finishing their preperations to run up river and that means they have lots of energy. These are some of the fish we have been catching so far!
